LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) rejected the appeal of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) candidate Usmar Dar requesting recounting in NA-73.
Justice Mamoon ur Rasheed presided over the case. Usmar Dar’s stance was that the returning officer at NA-73 did not hand over form 45 to his polling agent and when he requested recounting, his request was denied.
He said that he only lost from 1406 votes against his opponent Khawaja Asif and wanted the court to give an order for recounting. The court, however, rejected his request.
