LAHORE: Pakistan Chief Justice (CJ) Mian Saqib Nisar has on Friday said that there is no concept of judicial martial law in the constitution of the country.
Addressing the Pakistan Day ceremony in Lahore, CJ said that the fates of countries changed through capable leaders. He said that the judges’ responsibility was to provide justice only.
The chief justice said that the nation must respect the motherland and be grateful to the God Almighty for blessing us with the freedom.
He added that quality leadership was the only way through which nations could progress. CJ said that he would never accept an unconstitutional move.
